Project: Destination New South Wales

Destination New South Wales are another long term client of Descent Productions. We’ve been working together to capture epic underwater destination content, and to promote NSW’s stunning underwater world since 2019. Descent Productions has run 12 film productions to date with Destination New South Wales, stretching from our most northern point in Tweed Heads, down to the states far south in Narooma.

Our team has ran all aspects of these productions, from pre-production and acquiring talent and permits, on location production, through to post production, where our in house editing team have sorted through harddrives of footage to deliver 4 finished films serving as a guide to scuba diving and snorkelling in NSW, 14 Highlight Reels featuring 14 different destinations, and an array of still images.

The Destination Films

These four destination films are the culmination of years of underwater film work with Destination New South Wales. This project originally started as content production, and the production of destination highlight reels in which footage would be used for a variety of adverts and campaigns. As the project continued over the years we’d produced content for over 14 different destinations across NSW. These Expert Film Guides were produced following this to guide NSW residents along our beautiful underwater coastline. Each film was produced alongside an array of social edits, and a series of short promotional advertisements.

Social Campaign Adverts

In addition to producing the above Expert Film Guides, our team also produced a series of short promotional advertisements, designed to drive traffic to the hero films. These promotional edits were created for the 3 most recent Expert Guides, produced in 2021.

 

The Highlight Reels

In addition to producing the above film content and expert guides, our team also produced 14 highlight reels. Each of these reels have been produced with a light story and sound design and were designed to allow content to be easily accessed for future campaigns.
