Film: The Reef, 2021

The Reef is a story focused on scuba diving The Great Barrier Reef. The film explores the story of Underwater Cinematographer, and our very own DOP, Tom Park in his quest to re-embrace the feeling of awe and wonder he felt on his first dive at age 12. Through Tom's story, The Reef showcases the glory of The Great Barrier Reef, and delves into the psyche of an avid scuba diver.

The Reef was actually a Covid project made by our DOP Tom Park, and given we couldn’t film a single new shot for this project, and had to rely exclusively on existing footage, we’re thrilled at how well it has been received. The Reef has been featured in 8 international film festivals, and has won various awards in nature, documentary and underwater film categories.
